The 2020-22 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League is the maiden edition of the ODI league. 12 of the main countries will participate in the Championship League including the Netherlands. The 13 teams will earn their qualification status for the 2023 World Cup through the equal sets of matches appointed by the ICC.
The 13 participating countries are required to host four home and four away matches in ODI format. Three matches are the requirement in each series. Results from the ODI matches are counted for the World Cup qualification.
At the culmination of the Super League, top seven are selected to qualify for the 2023 World Cup. Teams who are going to be at the bottom of the list can still be removed from qualification cycle for the Cricket World Cup League Two for the 2027 World Cup.
