Shillong can boast of one of the largest Golf courses in Asia, a real spectacular arena, as it is an 18 hole Golf course amidst the alluring valley full of pine groves and rhododendron trees. The Elephant Falls is a breath taking view.


    • CHERAPUNJEE

    It is the wettest destination in the world, 65 Kms from Shillong. On your drive to Cherapunjee you will come across Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, and Mawswami Caves. You can visit Mawllynnong village which is the cleanest village in India. Nearby there are interesting sights like the living Root Bridge and a beautiful sight boulder balancing on another rock. While returning enroute you can visit the Shillong Peak for some enchanting views.


    2. ASSSAM


    • KAZIRANGA PARK

    Drive from Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park famous destination of North East Package is 05 hours. Do take an elephant safari in the morning to get a full view of the safari park, and also because wild animals are not afraid of elephants so you can get a closer view of the world life rhinos. At the Western wing of the park you can take a jeep safari and spend some time at Donga view point. In the central part of the park also take a jeep safari for viewing animals. While returning, you can also visit the Umlam Lake, a majestic placid lake, surrounded by Sylvan Hills.


    • MANAS NATIONAL PARK

    Manas Park is a 4 hour drive from Guwahati airport. The National Park was designated as a Tiger Reserve in 1973. Situated in the foothills of Bhutanese Himalaya, it is famous for its majestic Tiger and Golden Leaf Monkey. It is a paradise for bird lovers, birds which can be seen here are Giant Hornbills, Pheasants, Jungle Fowl, Scarlet Minivet, Partridge, Florican and variety of water birds. Mathanguri is the most beautiful point of Manas. You can also visit the tea gardens as you enter the park.


    • GUWAHATI

     In Guwahati you can take a boat ride in the river Brahmaputra. Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Island and Temple, Assam State Zoo, Basistha Ashram, Navagraha Temple etc.
