Going For A Vacation To Thailand? Here Is Our Travel Guide For You

    05 March 2019

Southeast Asia is the home to some of the best Asian tourist destinations and Thailand is one of them. This beautiful country offers a life-changing and thought-provoking travel experience along with a heavy dose of heritage and culture. Thailand tourism draws people all around the world and if you are one of them, then here is our travel guide for you.

    When to visit?

Whenever you are planning for an international vacation, it is really important to schedule the trip properly. Outcome of any leisure trip primarily depends on the time you have chosen to travel. Being a humid tropical country, Thailand features a long monsoon which sets off in July and lasts till October. After monsoon, climate becomes shiny and bright again. December to April is the best time to plan your Thailand tour package.

    Overall climatic condition

Thailand is a tropical country and therefore it is not hard to guess that it receives loads of heat and sunrays throughout the year. During monsoon season, you can experience heavy downpour every now and then. Due to its coastal areas, Thailand doesn’t get too hot or too cold. From December to March, climatic conditions are really pleasant and ideal for travelling.

    Visa requirements

Thailand tourism is flourishing like anything and it has improvised its Visa rules so that foreign travellers can obtain their Visa quickly. Thailand follows few general criteria for issuing Visa like a foreign traveller must carry a legal passport showing minimum 6 months validity after their return date. You can apply your Visa on arrival and stay here for maximum of 30 days.

    What to pack?

Thailand is particularly known for its stunning beach destinations. This country remains warm (a little hot sometimes) and breezy all through the year. While packing for Thailand tour package, you must take clothes that are light and comfortable. Cotton cloths are best to flaunt here. Don’t forget to pack your sun protection lotion, hat, sunglasses, flip-flops and beachwear to Thailand.

    Have loads of local cuisines

When you are roaming in Thailand, it is impossible to ignore the call of tasty local cuisines. Thai foods are simply awesome and once you taste some you will understand what magic can be created with simple ingredients and aromatic spices. Don’t forget to gorge upon street foods that taste great and save huge.

    Always respect their culture

Thai people are very friendly and welcoming too. Infectious smiles on Thai people’s face will surely melt your heart. Learning the local phrases for “please” and “thank you” can benefit you way more than you can imagine. Buddhism is largely at practice in Thailand. Never show any disrespectful gesture or throw disgusting comment towards their religious belief and culture.

    How to dress?

Thailand is the country that comes with an enriched heritage and impressive culture. People here are welcoming but they come from a more conservative background. Don’t wear skimpy clothes while entering a temple or a holy place. It is recommended to cover your head with a scarf or to wear a Sarong to cover most of your body as a token of respect towards Thai culture.
