When a piece comes into our shop for restoration, we provide complete re-upholstery service. Stripping it to the frame, we re-create the piece in its entirety. Using the highest quality of materials made of fabric or leather, we make new cushions and backs as needed. Before adding it back onto the frames we refinish the frames using a special paint, so as to give the furniture that antique style appearance. Then we place the upholstery back onto the refinished frame, and out of the old was created a new!
We understand how special antique furniture is to our clients; therefore, we make certain to take great care of these pieces. Very often our client’s main request is for us to make certain that we keep the original design of the antique. In such cases we study the piece and its design before taking it apart, and then we do great research in order to find the fabrics and materials that would resemble the original as close as possible.
