I'm Lucas Ferrer Cardona, MD, a board-certified vascular and endovascular surgeon based in Austin, Texas. I treat complex arterial and venous disease, and much of my work centers on limb salvage, amputation prevention and wound care. I earned my medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus, completed general surgery training at Temple University Hospital, then a vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Alongside my clinical work I'm an entrepreneur, a speaker and a collaborator across medicine and healthcare innovation. I co-host the Life of Flow podcast with Miguel Montero-Baker, MD, and I co-founded ImagenyX with Dimitrios Miserlis, MD.
