About
Careteam+ is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1993. Today, Careteam+ provides medical and support services for people living with chronic health issues. Through the Ryan White Care Act in 1994, Careteam+ received its first federal grant to provide medical treatment and social support services to uninsured clients living with HIV in Horry, Georgetown and Williamsburg counties. For the next 20 years, Careteam+ has been the primary source of care and services for people living with HIV who are medically uninsured.
