What is False Color?
False Color is a system that paints image pixels in brightness on a scale from 0 to 100. Thus, False Color helps to know the mathematical brightness of individual parts of the frame and adjust the exposure more than just by eye.
False Color is used both as a plug-in for editing and color correction programs, and as a special mode on video camera monitors.
