Individual therapy is a collaborative process between the client and counsellor. Therapy is about being ready to change and being the agent of change in your life. I am here as a guide and collaborator to identify the changes that are currently in progress. Both client and therapist need to be actively involved in the therapy sessions. My role is to ask specific and thought-provoking questions, in order to help you increase understanding of a situation, process emotions, and enhance and develop coping strategies. You will determine your goals and we will go at your pace.
