What is Sadaqah Jariyah – Best ways of performing Sadaqah
Giving Sadaqah without giving money
While one of the best ways to give Sadaqah is to make a monetary charitable donation to the poor, Islam, and the sunnah, teaches us about actions that are favoured by Allah (swt) and are also considered Sadaqah. They are rewarded, just as a Sadaqah donation is.
For a water pump donation of just £150, we can completely revolutionise the way countless women in poverty are currently having to live their lives. By installing a simple water handpump close to their home, those many hours a day spent walking miles just for clean water are significantly reduced and they can focus on improving their family income. https://muslimcharity.org.uk/water-pumps-donation/

Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam, which is the practice of giving a mandatory portion of one's total wealth to the needy. Our Rescue a Child project is a lifeline for many innocent children
he UN estimates that there are 150 million children living on the street. This is perhaps a conservative estimate, as reporting and recording is very difficult, and the real figure is thought to be much higher. They are living in fear, without protection, food or hope for their futures. They are at huge risk of exploitation, abuse, forced prostitution, trafficking, forced labour and slavery.
As one of the major charities for street children, we support street children in Bangladesh and Pakistan.
In Bangladesh, over 50% of the population live below the poverty line, which can lead to an increase in child abandonment and suffering. It is estimated that in the capital city, Dhaka, more than 500,000 street children are living on the street. There are accounts of children getting caught up in gang disputes and violence, carrying weapons and taking part in illegal activities. https://muslimcharity.org.uk/charities-for-streetchildren/
