Go through these steps to set up your Roku device

STEP 1: IDENTIFYING THE TYPE OF DEVICE

• There are two types of Roku devices, analyze them first. One is Roku stick and the other is the Roku player
• The Roku stick looks like a USB stick and the Roku player looks like a normal set up box
• Both take the same procedure in the establishment

STEP 2: CONNECTING THE HDMI CABLE

• Purchase an HDMI cable form any electrical shop nearby
• Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the input device and another end to the TV
• There are many ports on your TV that can be selected if it is a new model
• If you are using an old TV it might not have HDMI port, you can use a converter that has three colors in this case
• If you are using a stick you cannot connect it to the old TV
• And finally, connect the power cord to the device for its supply

STEP 3: TURNING ON THE TV

• Remember the HDMI port to which you gave your Roku device connection
• Turn on your TV and using the arrows on your remote, select the proper input
• If you’re using a new TV then HDMI1, 2 or 3 according to the port to which you have given connection
• If it is an old TV AV1 or 2 respectively

STEP 4: BASIC SETUP

• You will be told to pick your favorite language from the accessible ones
• You will have to use the Roku remote, given with the device as this is connected through Bluetooth with the device

• Connect to a network

• Update the system, that is, the device

• Select the channels by either creating an Roku.com/link account or by logging in if, you already have one
