Automatic mains failure (AMF) panel are used for activating power of emergency stand by generator on failure of main electric supply in a system and also make an automatic electric power transfer of load from mains to standby generating sets, on restoration of main power supply, the AMF panel put the load on main electric supply and shut down the standby generating sets after a suitable cooling run.
