Battery Jump Start :
This is an essential skill that every driver must have, but if you ask five people how to start a car with a dead battery, you can get five different answers. Here is the right way to give a boost to a dead battery.

Before you start, you will definitely need some things. You will want a pair of jumper cables, which we suggest you always keep in the trunk or stowed in your car, and you will need a car with a good battery that works.
Before you begin, make sure your starter cables are in good condition. They should be long enough to easily reach the car with the right battery and the car that needs juice. There should be no exposed wire and the rubber coating should be free of cracks or damage. The clamps of the jumper cables must be clean; like the battery terminals to which you connect them. We suggest you keep a battery terminal brush in the trunk with your flying cables, just in case.

Once your vehicles are in place, turn off both vehicles, put them in the park (or in neutral for a manual) and place their parking brakes. Go ahead, blow up the hoods of both vehicles and get your jumpers ready

Connect vehicles
Remember that the red connector is positive and the black connector is negative. The red clip on one end connects to the red clip on the other; the cables do not cross in the center.
Be careful when connecting both vehicles - when connecting a clamp, try not to let the other clamp hang in the engine compartment or click under the hood.
Start your engines.
Start the emergency car (the one with the good battery). Starting vehicles in this order will immediately start charging the car with the dead battery, so in most cases you do not need to let the emergency car run with the closed car off. However, if the battery of the dead car has been dead for a long time, you may have to let the starter group slow down a bit to charge the battery of the dead car.

Once the emergency car is running, go ahead and start the dead car. It will probably start right away, but if it does not, stop trying, wait a few minutes, and try again. If it still does not start after two or three tries, stop trying - you do not want to damage the starter. It is possible that the battery simply does not hold the charge or that the vehicle has a problem.
