    Sales of Maruti Suzuki Swift have been clear from the sale that Indians are starting to woo B-segment cars more. This can be estimated by the fact that Maruti Alto, who topped the sales for several years, slipped this time to fourth place.     Suzuki Swift


    In the beginning of 2018, Maruti launched a new version of Maruti Suzuki Swift, and with the launch, Swift made her hold in the Indian car market. Next Generation Swift has been developed on the 'Heartect' platform. The popularity of the new Swift can be estimated from the fact that in November 2018, 22,191 swift has been sold. This figure was 13,337 in November 2017. The new Swift also has an AMT option with petrol and diesel engines. This year Swift was also given the Car of the Year award.


    Swift price ranges from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 8.76 lakh.


    Hyundai Elite i20


    Earlier this year, the company launched a fresh fresh look of Hyundai Elite i20, while in May the company introduced CVT transmission with its 1.2 petrol engine. The popularity of the Hyundai Elite i20 can be estimated by the fact that the company sold 92,817 units in the April to November this year. Elite I20 was at seventh place in terms of total sales. In the year 2017, the company sold 89,988 elite till April to November. I 20 comes with 1.2 liter petrol and 1.4 liter diesel engine. The CVT feature comes in Magna and Asta's petrol variant.


    The starting price of the Hyundai Elite i20 is Rs 5.43 lakh to Rs 9.23 lakh.


    Maruti Baleno


    In the top hatchback of the country's most popular B-segment, Maruti Suzuki Baleno is second. Maruti Suzuki launched Baleno in October 2015, where over 5 lakh balano units have been sold in 38 months. This car alone sold 17,000 units in November 2018 alone. Baleno comes with two variants 1.2-liter petrol engine and 1.3-liter diesel engine. Its petrol engine gives power of 83 bhp while the diesel engine generates power of 75 bhp. Both variants also have an automatic transmission of 5-speed manual transmission and petrol variant option. Balleno also features a dual airbags, EBD with ABS, and seat belt pre-tensioners along with isofix features.


    Tata Tiago


    Tata Tiago has proved to be a game changer for Tata Motors. Due to its mileage, this car is quite popular among the people. Given its popularity, Tata has recently launched its XZ + variant. In the new variant of Tiago, there are new features such as a 15-inch alloy wheel, 7-inch touchscreen system with Android Auto, climate control, power folding wing mirrors. The 5-speed manual gearbox and automatic gearbox with a 1.2-liter petrol and 1.0 liter diesel engine is provided in Tiago. The mileage of the car is 27 km per liter.


    The price of Tiago XZ + is between 5.57 lakh and 6.31 lakh rupees.


    Hyundai Grand i10


    Hyundai Grand i10 has been quite popular in B segment's hatchback customers. Talking about the sale, Grand I10 is at the eighth position. The company sold 9,252 cars till November 2018 this year, while 88,016 grand i10 cars were sold from April to November. Talk about the features of the Grand i10, the features like rear AC vant has been given. At the same time, the company plans to launch its new design upgrade in 2019. Grand i10 also features features like ABS and Rear parking with dual front airbags. The car gets a 1197 cc petrol and 1186 cc diesel engine. According to Hyundai, the car gives 18.9 km of gasoline and 24.95 km per liter of diesel on diesel.


    The price of the Grand i10 variants ranges from Rs 4.93 lakh to Rs 7.56 lakh.
