UPSC IES/ISS Exam Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality 

Citizen of India, or as mentioned in the notification

Educational Qualification:

For Indian Economic Service: 

Candidates who have obtained Post-graduation Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics /Econometrics from well-known  University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act Parliament are eligible for IES examination.

For Indian Statistical Service:

Candidate who have obtained Post-Graduation degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from well-known  University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act Parliament are eligible for ISS examination.

UPSC IES/ISS Age Limitation:

• Applicants who want to apply for IES ISS Notification should have attained the age of 21 years but not exceed the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2019 or,
• Candidates must have born not earlier than 2nd August, 1988 and not later than 1st August, 1997.

Age Relaxation for UPSC IES/ISS Exam 2020: 

• 5 years for SC/ST candidates
• 3 years for OBC candidates.

Application fees: 

• For Male candidates (General/ OBC categories): Rs. 200/-
• For Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Nil

Mode of payment:

• Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or SBI internet banking.
