The shift that occurred in connection with the pandemic also saw changes in shopping behaviors with people inside their homes ravishing their shopping spree online. SCORE ran a survey across shoppers to identify the shopping patterns and the general attitude in the shopping shift.
Supporting small businesses as an initiative sprung into action with people supporting local and small business owners. The survey underlined that one in four shoppers purchased gifts online supporting small businesses. 21% of Gen Zers were planning to purchase from black-owned businesses, showing their support for the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement. 12% were planning to buy from businesses that publicly support the BLM movement.
