I'm so sick of reading that making money from a travel blog is hard. It's not; in fact, it's very easy if you know what you're doing. The problem is that most people do not understand how to do this and repeatedly hit their head on a brick wall before giving in to anger.

This does not mean writing, not stories, but understanding and working on the internet. I'm not saying it doesn't require a lot of work. You invest hours in generating your income, it's just not complicated, and anyone can do it if they have the commitment and the time.

It has been known that I say if you know how to do this, you can even print your own money. I support it, but it takes a lot of time and effort. This is not a very rich quick scheme. Here are seven things you can do to earn a sufficient amount from your travel blog.

1. Use your blog as a resume to get freelance writing work

In my earlier years of blogging, my biggest source of income was freelance writers. At first, they don't pay as well, but you establish yourself, and over time you can ask for more based on your experience (and impact).

This is useful if the post determines that you have something to help you share the article and get more views. The more you grow, the easier it is to better pay for opportunities. Writing articles not only help your bank account but also gives you links, which is good for SEO!

2. Be Genuine and Love What You Do

Nobody too fond of fakes, and I'm sure you do. Don't be alone. It's too easy for you to notice and scare people. You have to love this game. It's fun, exciting, and addictive. If you find it a task, you will never waste hours.

If you need to write a complete guidebook for your destination, you should spend a couple of months there. There's nothing worse than bloggers who don't know your topic. People post about places they have never been to. It's simple and easy, but who wants to read this?

Plan your travels to get the knowledge you need to write messages. Specialize in a specific location, know your facts, and be a trusted source of information. Write down everything that someone may need to achieve this goal, and be a respected resource. This specialty is good for your website's SEO and Google rankings, not just for your readers.

3. Sell Your Photos

Photography is a big part of travel blogs. What's the best way to inspire people to see the beautiful places you share? Having a visually appealing website is important, and since Instagram is a useful marketing tool, it's a great way to get paid. Most of the paid work comes to me through Instagram! I'm always looking for ways to push myself and get better; taking pictures while traveling is very important nowadays.

You can also sell photos online. In this way, some people receive a decent passive income. The rules of what to see in your photo are strict, but if you're traveling and you're still running late, it's worth it. I don't personally recommend it as I haven't tried it yet. If so, please let me know in the comments below if it works for you (or if not, let us know why!).

4. A Quality Site is Fast and Slick

Your website needs to be fast, mobile-friendly, and with great search engine optimization. This usually comes with good hosting, a quality theme, and good (often paid) plugins and tools. You need to spend some money to earn more. Don't worry about looks. Make your site fast, efficient, and clean.

People want information, and they want it to be quick and easy. Integrate the WordPress FAQ plugin on your site to respond to your visitors' queries in advance. I strongly recommend investing in good living and a good, fast and safe subject. Your topic needs to be mobile, and you need an SSL certificate. If you can't check all of these boxes, you are sabotaging your Google rankings.

5. Get into Affiliate Marketing

It is never too early to start an affiliate. Even if you are starting, having partners and recommending products you like will build trust and payment. It's a long game, and you may not see the results of your work for a year or two, but it can be incredibly rewarding.

For example, I spent four months writing about what to pack for my blogging career in Southeast Asia, and now it's one of my most successful affiliates. It took some time, but it turned out. That always applies to me. I never know how my writing will go much later, so I'll try again!

Now you can partner with just about anything, so think outside the box. The main thing is to promote only those products that you love and use yourself. Trust must always come first to sell products to your audience successfully. This post provides information on how to write a good post for your partner.

6. Maximising AdSense Revenue

The same amount of money can be made with Google AdSense. This includes monitoring pages for longer and placing ads where your eyes stay. AdSense worked fine for me. I am currently working at Media vine, which makes me an insanely good income, but you cannot join this traffic class before that if you have good traffic. Newbies should start with AdSense.

Let people watch your AdSense ads for longer and focus their attention and time on the ad's location. Images, captions, videos, charts, tables, text boxes, and other mixed media that draw attention keeps the point in focus. Work with these features. Keep your content long so you can show more ads.

Tracking your pages for longer does have a positive effect on your advertising income and your Google rankings, and your user satisfaction. If your readers stay on the page because of the useful and interesting content you provide, everyone will be happy.

7. Improve Your Old Content

Your old posts can make you more money and improve your site's ranking. Go back and fix everything for utility, up-to-date information, speed, broken links, alternate tags, and all aspects of search engine optimization.

Your old content will demote your website's overall ranking if it's bad. Please correct it if it is really bad and out of time, remove it and reuse it at a more suitable URL. This is the last resort, but some of my old things were useless and uncomfortable and had to be gone. Don't worry about 404s and sometimes redirects. Or tell Google not to index it.
