The Airplane

The structure of the airplane plays an important role in its flight. While there is no doubt we can come a long way where we stand today in terms of modern plane designs compared to where we started. The wings form an important part of the airplane. If you see carefully, the wings of the plane are designed to help uplift the body of the plane and cut through the air pressure. These help move the plane faster and create an effective force that helps lift the plane. 

To control a plane, there are various instruments a pilot makes use of. While the engines are controlled via throttle, it is through the throttle that the pilot can increase, decrease or work with the speed of the plane. 

Working with the wings: The pilot controls the wings and can make them move in an upward or downward motion through the ailerons, the smaller movable flaps on the wings of the plane. This helps move the plane to the left or right direction. 

Tackling the tail: The pilot has to work with the elevators on the tail section of the plane in order to make it go up or nose dive down. This can be done by moving the elevators or flaps on the tail in an up or down motion. 

Turning The Plane: If the pilots have to turn the planes around, they have to make sure of the rudders. Rudders are vertical flaps on the top tail of the plan that helps move the whole plane to take a wider turn to its left or its right when used in combination with the ailerons.
