The New Zealand government conducted the most recent Skilled Expression of Interest draws under the skilled migrant category on 4 September 2019 inviting 642 applicants to go for preliminary verification to check whether an invitation to apply for residency will be issued or not. The current draw issued EOIs to the applicants with 160 points or more. The 1,446 people will undergo preliminary verification. Now, 613 EOIs are in the pool after selection.

As we can see that a total of 642 EOIs are issued in this draw where 592 EOIs went to the applicants with a job-offer category out of which 544 candidates are onshore and 48 candidates are offshore. Only 1 onshore candidate received an invitation to apply without a job offer and 49 EOIs went to offshore candidates without a job offer.
From past so many New Zealand Skill Select draws, the Indians received the maximum number of invites (31%) followed by China (15%) and then South Africa (14%).
The next New Zealand fortnightly draw is expected to be out on 27 September 2019.
