Durvalumab 120mg Injection – Uses and Immunotherapy Information

Adults with certain type of lung cancer called non small cell lung cancer are treated with Durvalumab 120mg injection (Imfinzi). Gastric and gastroesophageal junction cancers in some patients is also treated with Imfinzi. It works by blocking PD-L1 (Programmed Death ligand 1) protein helping immune system to get activated for attacking cancer cells. This immunotherapy drug is highly efficient for carcinomas. Get immediate medical attention if you get any serious allergic reaction like hives, difficulty breathing, swelling on your face, lips or tongue.
