When you ask a social worker why they became a social worker, the standard response is "I want to help people." This, I believe, is the expected response. This is what the person who has asked the question wants to hear because it validates their perception of social workers and social work. Are we there yet, God? Social workers are soft-hearted people who want to save the world. Their expressions and tone express their impression as they respond, "Oh, well, that must be very rewarding."
Hello dear God! Are we now there? It is a way to find and provide public assistance, both for communities and individuals. We live in a globalized world, and the experiences we have now will change our life and help us rediscover what it means to be human.
